Akon is coming to TAP1 in Copenhagen in May with his wild hit parade of pop and R&B hits. The award-winning multi-platinum-selling artist, singer, producer, entrepreneur, actor, and philanthropist, Akon, is set to perform in Denmark. Known for dominating the charts with his massive R&B, hip-hop, EDM, and pop hits in the 2000s, the Senegalese-American artist has a resume like few others. He has started three record labels, including Konvict Music, where artists like T-Pain and Lady Gaga began their careers. Additionally, he has sold over 35 million albums worldwide.    

In addition to an impressive catalog of his own songs such as “Locked Up” and “Lonely,” Akon has been one of the hottest names when it comes to providing features for some of the biggest names in the music world. His list of guest features, totaling more than 300, includes songs with artists such as Michael Jackson, David Guetta, Gwen Stefani, Lil’ Wayne, and Eminem.
